“The greatest preachers need no pulpit”

A conversation the other week sparked another on Saturday night which has had me confused a little. It’s not a secret that im fascinated by the christian/jewish/egyptian history basically anything that happened from old testament times right through to the dark ages. It’s also no secret that I’m an atheist and can usually argue a good case for it with any religious person. In fact I’ve been known to go of on one on here just for the hell of it which in turn led to Stoo calling my blog the Holy Church and partly where the name for my blog came from.

This past week has seen me thinking wether im that interested in the subject because I want to believe in something but cant find something solid enough to believe in…or wether Im struggling to understand why people believe so strongly in something I cannot in good faith even consider accepting as a possible truth. Its not the fact that I dont know if I should be believing in something but rather the fact I’m even asking the question in the first place. There seems to be loads of questions like this going about at the moment and for once I dont have an answer for this one.
