I was itching to play a racing game on my PC yesterday. I dont know why but I dont think I’ve ever actually owned a game like that for my PC. I loved Formula 1 Grand Prix for my Atari ST and would always have games like Need For Speed or suck like for my Amiga…but never anything for my PC. Two of the games I loved was Demolition Derby 2 which might have actually been for my PC but I cant remember and Gran Turismo on the Playstation. The crap thing being that my copy of GT for my PS1 is scratched so I cant even get my kicks from that!

I’ve been trying to get a hold of Need For Speed Undergound 2 to see if it’s any good but unfortunately I havent been able to find a copy inthe shops never mind manage to download it. Mark was going to give me the discs yesterday but never managed round so I was stuck playing Rise of Nations because Ultima Online kept crashing on me whenever I tried to go mining in Minoc. A slightly disappointing day on the PC. I was in a sleepless daze though through most of the day so it’s probably best that i didnt get behind the wheel of a car…real or otherwise.
