I keep wanting to say “why the hell am I so tired?” when I know fine well why. A small baby would answer that but add in a trip to the park on Saturday, babysitting the neighbours kids on Saturday night and a day trip on Sunday. I can understand why Vonnie told me to phone in and get a day off yesterday. Still feel like crap mind you but I can only imagine how knackered Vonnie must be!

Saturday seen us heading into Kelvingrove Park for the BBC’s Springwatch ‘festival’. It was a very warm day and I think that killed us from the start. Met loads of folk in the park but the place was that busy and Nairn was going that mental and enjoying the grass and the sun that I ended up taking him for wee walks all over the place just to keep us both calm. Then Kylie and Danielle stayed over so that Heather could get a night out for a change.

Sunday was supposed to be fantastic weather so we decided to head through to St Andrews and go to the aquarium. It started raining half way there and didn’t really perk up until we hit the coast. It still wasn’t that great but it was nice to get some fresh air and get the kids playing in the sand. Had a few hairy moments with the car though so its back at the garage getting fixed as we speak. I always though going from a Picasso to a 3 door Yaris was a big jump but this time we’ve went from a 5 door 7 seater to a 3 door Micra (or something even smaller).

It was Finn’s birthday yesterday as well. Six years old and growing fast. Got himself a Nintendo DS and I don’t think he’s put it down yet without us having to drag it from his hands.

I’ve not got much get up and go right now which is annoying.
