I’ve been in a sleepy haze for th elast week so apologies if anyones tried to talk to me and got nothing back. Waking up at 5am every morning isnt that bad unless your not getting to sleep until nearly midnight with at least one crying wakeup call between then and waking up. In saying thatthough I did actually manage to get back to sleep this morning after the 5am feed which was a first.

It is my mums birthday today and shes is worse than my dad for buying presents for. She has no real hobbies and theres only so many trinkets and picture frames you can buy someone before it gets to be to much. Anyway we got her a present and some flowers and went out to lunch at a local pub. My parents had never seen Nairn when he threw a tantrum before and seemed to be quite shocked but he calmed down once the food was put in front of him. He wolfed down a plate of chips and a huge chicken and veg pie!

Now its just a case of getting the working day over and done with and we’ll see wether the kids are up to spending this evening at Mo and Kirsty’s as its Mo’s birthday as well today.
