Camera Snobbery

As I mentioned in my previous entry I got myself a new lens the other day. Theres 3 lenses I want for the camera, a wide angle, a 50mm prime for portrait work and a telephoto zoom lightsaber type thing. I tossed up wether the 50mm prime or the telephoto was the one I needed first but after our trip to Edinburgh Zoo over the summer the telephoto won the day.

I’d looked about and I had my eye on a few lenses but I was always going to be limited to what I could get as I couldnt justify spending large amounts of cash as there are other far more important things I should be spending the money on. Anyway with the windfall we got I worked out that could get one of the lenses I had my eye on.

The Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Zoom Lens came in at just under
