aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrghhh.

Nairn has taken to singing. And not your usual kiddy singing along to lazytown or teletubbies or whatever. When he does it he puts on his most serious face I’ve ever seen him pull, grabs the nearest thing he can use as a mic and goes for it.

So far the only song we’ve managed to make out has Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs but we’re working on the rest

This evening I have sat with him on my knee as we went through a big list of songs on Youtube to see what his reaction would be. Ruby kicked in and he was away but gave up half way through and he joined in the chorus of almost every other one. He’s nuts!

He also came into possession of some Winnie the Pooh alphabet blocks and he knows B and U so far. We’ve only went through 3 letters though so I say thats quite good progress. Add into that we were drawing on the magnadoodle thing we have and I drew a rather crap picture of a couple of bits of fruit and he shouted “Nana!” and “Bapple” which totally threw me. I knew he could place photos and decent pictures quite well but fuzzy crappyly drawn ones?

He surprises me more and more every day
