As most folk will say about these pages, I hate writing about myself! My name is Bob. This is me for those that haven’t caught sight of me before.

I’m a husband to my wife and a father to my family. If anyone says kids are easy then you can tell they don’t have any themselves. They are most certainly worth it though.

Despite my lack of skill I enjoy making things with my hands. Wether that means a new woodwork project or a previously uncooked cake depends on the weather if I’m honest. For some reason I cannot stand storebought DIY or flooring. The slightest thing goes wrong and in a foul mood for the rest of the day.

I also keep chickens. I’ve currently got 14 hens of which only 5 are laying, a handful of meat birds and a couple of turkeys to do us for christmas dinner. They may take up a lot of time to get thier run and coops built but they are worth it!

I love the country of my birth and if I ever move away you can guarentee I’ll be the kind of guy that will sit on my porch on a summers evening with a beer in my hand singing Dougie MacLeans Caledonia to myself with a tear in my eye.
