We all went down to see Stephanie and Gary’s new baby today. We handed in a few presents and went for lunch in a nearby pub. I don’t know if its my health problems or what but these last few nights I’ve not really been sleeping well until last night when I slept like a log. I’m still shattered though and my chest is really tight which it hasn’t been for the last week or so. I had an enormous appetite though which I think has worked against me today.

So yeah the chicken… I got the kingsize chicken combo for lunch which consisted of 2 bits of corn, 2 chicken breast piripiri style, 2 chicken kebabs, 4 southern fried style strips and a big plate of chips. I think it worked out at about one and a half full chickens or there abouts. So not only was I tired but I was stuffed as well. If it wasn’t quite sunny today I’ve have thought it was christmas day and I was feeling the effects of having stuffed my face all lunchtime.

The whole house has been zombified because of that food this evening

I cant get to my PC at home at the moment. This is because in a fit of rage the other day after hitting the bookshelf beside the livingroom door Vonnie decided to rearrange everything. She pretty much had most of the books sorted out and 2 of the bookshelves moved by the time I got home form work on Tuesday night. We would probably have got them moved over that night if it wasn’t for the fact we had 9 kids in our front room watching the first Harry Potter film!

Yesterday I woke up at 6am almost in tears from tiredness apparently and I managed to get a half day annual leave and a half day home working whih covered all the bases and helped us out dramatically. Got a good attempt at work going in the morning but my age old problem of being kicked off the network happened and from then on I struggled to get any real work done. This did mean that we managed to get the other bookshelf moved and the couch birled around and moved as well. Just need to clear all the rubbish out the way and swap over the computer desk and the playpen and we should be laughing. Then we can get stuck into stripping the wallpaper and getting the place decorated.

I’m really looking foward to my bed tonight it has to be said.

I admit it, yesterdays entry was a cop out. I take solace in fact that any entry I would have tried to type up would have been completely illegible through tiredness.

Today I have spent most of my day at the Crutherland House Hotel discussing how my next 9 months of working is going to be done. We’re changing how the team is organised and how it will work very soon and todays event was to get the opinions and insights of those at the coal face. Alot of people seem to be getting worried over nothing as to be honest its not anything we didnt do a year ago anyway when the transformation started. Its just that alot of folk seem to have forgotten that.

On a side note dont ever ask me to pic and choose folk to survive if our hot air ballon is going to crash on a desert island. If your no use to my survival you’ll be the first one I’m throwing out the basket! Then again a bit of banter before we died on the hell hole that would be the island I crashed on would probably be preferable to the banality of the life that I’d have should I pick some half decent survivors.
